Mohammad Sulieman

Undergraduate Student

Mohammad Sulieman, third-year student pursuing a dual major in Psychology and Music, with academic interests at the intersection of psychoacoustics, psychophysics, perception, and social behavior. Central to this is an interest in how the structural and acoustic properties of sound relate to emotional states, cognitive responses, and physiological outcomes at both individual and collective levels — extending naturally into the clinical domain, particularly the therapeutic applications of music in relation to mental health, emotional regulation, and rehabilitation. Complementing this is a grounding interest in social psychology,  how shared musical experience intersects with group cohesion, identity formation, and emotional contagion, and how sonic environments bear on human behavior across personal and social dimensions.
