Muhammed Suleiman

Undergraduate Student

Muhammed Suleiman, third-year student pursuing a dual major in Psychology and Music, with academic interests at the intersection of psychoacoustics, psychophysics, perception, and social behavior. Central to this is an interest in how the structural and acoustic properties of sound relate to emotional states, cognitive responses, and physiological outcomes at both individual and collective levels — extending naturally into the clinical domain, particularly the therapeutic applications of music in relation to mental health, emotional regulation, and rehabilitation. Complementing this is a grounding interest in social psychology,  how shared musical experience intersects with group cohesion, identity formation, and emotional contagion, and how sonic environments bear on human behavior across personal and social dimensions.

Anna Amitzur-Steinberg

Lab Manager

Anna Amitzur-Steinberg is completing her dual B.A. in Cognitive Science and Psychology at the University of Haifa. Anna was drawn to the lab by a fascination with the intersection of embodiment, neural mechanisms, and environmental influences, and a desire to explore how physiological and mental experiences shape individual well-being. This focus emerged from her extensive professional background as a certified touch therapist, yoga teacher, and breathwork facilitator.

Mohammed Abdallah

Undergraduate Student

Mohammad Abdallah is a Cognitive Science and Computer Science double major at the University of Haifa. He works on the lab's olfactory language project, investigating how much of human smell perception can be recovered from language alone using large language models. His interests sit at the intersection of cognition and computation.

Hadar Drin

Undergraduate Student

I am a second-year student pursuing a combined degree in Information Systems and Cognitive Science. I am especially interested in how computational tools and data analysis can be used to better understand cognition and human behavior. My academic background in programming, data analysis, and logical  reasoning continues to shape my interest in the intersection of technology and cognitive science
